Found just south west of Combermere. Another crag best visited if staying overnight in Maynooth.

Dorset Rocks

 
 

Found just north of Dorset. A venue for some scratchy scratchy. Home to Triple S and You Might Pray.

Timber Trail

 
 

Timbertrail is found west of Algonquin Park, north of the Ox Narrows. A great place to seek out solitude and climb a wide variety of different routes. Home to Broken Arrow.

 

Dog Bay

 


A small crag in Madawaska not far from Baptiste Lake Crag. The ice faces north and stays late into the season. Lots of options. Originally described in 2016/17 Conditions Updates, Dog Bay now has its own e-guide. (Updated March 2021).

Bark Lake (Harris Bay)

 
 

This area is close to two of SO’s most popular destinations, Diamond Lake and Papineau Roadside. It’s home to the Blood Wall, among other crags. Lots to see and climb, but it requires crossing the spooky Bark Lake. (Last updated March 2021)
